Court Proceedings Concluded, ‘Aktor: Take One’ Released

The court has lifted the ban on the public screening of Aktor: Take One, which was imposed a day before its release due to a copyright dispute.

The film was released nationwide on Friday morning after the case was withdrawn from the court. Due to the legal proceedings, theaters had not scheduled morning shows. However, after the case was withdrawn, they began screening the film in the afternoon.

A dispute had been ongoing between the producers of Actor and Aktor: Take One over similarities in the film titles. After reaching an agreement on Thursday, the producers of Ackor: Take One announced in a press conference that the film would be released from Friday.

Directed by Rajan Bhusal, the film features lead performances by Pradeep Khadka, Anna Sharma, Divya Rayamajhi, Raj Ballav Koirala, Divya Dev, Srijana Adhikari, Usha Rajak, and Sushil Sitaula.

The script was written by Akash Baral and Rajan Bhusal.

A joint presentation of Adhrut Films and A Moti Film, the movie is produced by Thaman Kumar Bhandari, with Moti Karki as the creative producer and Anish Bhusal as the co-producer.
