‘Kama’ to Release in the UK and Ireland on March 7

 The British film ‘Kama’, directed by Bhimsen Lama, is set to be released simultaneously in the UK and Ireland on March 7 in over 260 cinemas. The film is said to be filled with suspense, action, and thrill.

Set in various locations across the UK, the film showcases the extent to which a person can go for betrayal and revenge. The trailer of the film has already captured the attention of the audience.

The film stars Hollywood actors Matt Wakeford, Jemima Toms, Mia Bennett, South Indian actress Pooja Gupta, and Nepali actor Tank Dhāmala in the lead roles. Vikram Joshi is the executive producer, Hirāl Joshi is the producer, and MG Amin and Ishwar Shrestha are co-producers. The story of the film is by the late Bisharad Basnet, while the script was written by Hirāl Joshi, Vikram Joshi, and Laxman Suvedi.

‘Kama’, produced with an international market in mind, won four awards at the Milan International Film Maker Festival in Italy, including Best Film, Best Script, Best Actor, and Best Actress. Similarly, at the Madrid International Film Festival 2024, the film won awards for Best Actor, Cinematographer, and Supporting Actor. It has also been nominated at several other festivals.

Actor and producer Vikram Joshi, who has been residing in the UK for a long time, has previously produced films such as ‘Password’, ‘Happy Days’, ‘Hello Zindagi’, and ‘The Secret of Radha’. ‘Kama’ will soon be released in cinemas in the United States, Australia, Canada, and other countries. The production team has also stated that the film will be released in Hindi in India and Nepali in Nepal in the near future.
