‘Baristha Balram’ Auspicious Ceremony, Filming Begins

The auspicious ceremony for the film ‘Baristha Balram’ has been held. On Wednesday, the title teaser was released, and the release date was announced. The auspicious ceremony for the film was held today.

The production team began filming today with a puja at the Budhanilkantha Temple in Kathmandu. The movie is scheduled for release on Kartik 3, coinciding with Laxmi Puja. Surendra Poudel will direct the film.

The film stars Dayahang Rai, Vijay Baral, Samriddhi Aryal, Gaumaya Gurung, and Pashupati Rai in leading roles, with Mao Tse Gurung, Pradeep Chowdhary, Ram Babu Regmi and other actors also appearing.

‘Baristha Balram’ is Surendra Poudel’s fourth directorial venture, who is known as a skilled editor in the Nepali film industry. Ashish H. Tamang and Shree Raj Karki are the producers.

The film will have Surendra Poudel’s story and editing with Mahesh Dwadi as the writer.

The film is based on a social theme, and its filming will take place in various districts of Chitwan and Hetaunda. The DOP is Manakrishna Mahajan.

Taranath Nyaupane is the chief assistant director, with Prashant Shivakoti’s music, Samrat Basnet’s action direction, and Pradeep Lama’s choreography.

‘Baristha Balram’ is produced by Vrishabh Siddhi Entertainment in association with Anvi Films. The film aims to provide a social message and entertainment, as stated by the production team.

The film will be distributed by DCN in the Kathmandu Valley and Kuber Cine Distribution outside the valley.
