Anjila is based on the life of Angela Tumbapo Subba, the captain of the Nepali women’s national football team, with Angela herself portraying the lead role. The film presents an emotional narrative of her struggles and triumphs from childhood to her career as an athlete. The cast includes Angela Tumbapo Subba, Prem Kumar Shrestha, Sunil Thapa, Dayahang Rai, Vijay Baral, Srijana Subba, Mao Tse Gurung, Sumin Gurung, Buddhi Tamang, and more.
