The video of the ghazal “Ghazal Unkai, Geet Unkai” sung by Pakistani ghazal singers Ustad Ghulam Ali, Amir Ghulam Ali, and Nazir Ghulam Ali has been released. The ghazal features lyrics by Manoj Khadka and music by Milan Moktan.
The video includes scenes from the event “Ghulam Ali Three Generations on One Stage” held in Lalitpur a few days ago. It showcases footage of Ghulam Ali’s welcome at Tribhuvan International Airport upon his arrival in Nepal, along with highlights from his concert. The song was recorded at Pragya Sound Recording Studio, with arrangements by Kiran Kandel. Deep Tuladhar played a key advisory role in the creation of the ghazal.
Ghazal writer Manoj Khadka mentioned that this is the first-ever historical ghazal recorded by three generations of Ustad Ghulam Ali. The video also includes scenes of the ghazal’s creation.
The video has been released on the “Manoj Khadka Official” YouTube channel. Some of Khadka’s popular songs, such as “Gaugharle Sodhyo Pardeshi Lai” sung by Ramkrishna Dhakal, “Timi Je Ban, Udaharan Ban” sung by Pramod Kharel and Trishala Gurung, and “Tejaswi Apsara” sung by Menuka Paudel, have already garnered love from Nepali audiences.
