The film ’11:55′ (Do Not Trust Anyone) is preparing for release on Friday, 8th of Chaitra, and the production team is busy with promotions. The promotional materials of the film have gained the audience’s trust, which has made the production team excited.
The main actors of the film, Shristi Shrestha, Mahesh Tripathi, Karishma Shrestha, and debut actor Sagar Khanal, are currently reaching out to various media outlets to inform as many audiences as possible about the film. They are attracting viewers by presenting ‘11:55’ as a beautiful film in the crime thriller genre. The feedback received on the film’s promotional materials, such as posters, teasers, songs, and trailers, indicates that the audience is curious and eager.
The film’s lead actress, Shristi Shrestha, who has portrayed different characters in each of her films, is optimistic that her role in ’11:55′ will also be appreciated. She plays the role of a married woman in the film. Since the film is a thriller, she mentioned that she was excited to work in this genre, which is also her favorite. She explained that the story of the film revolves around an event that happens at 11:55 PM one night.
She shared that reading the script of the film as a general audience was exciting, and that’s why she was ready to work in it. “Until now, I had played one kind of character. For me, the character in this film was different. The psychological graph of this character and its look were also different. That’s why I was ready to work in this film,” she said.
Another lead actress, Karishma Shrestha, revealed that her character in the film is a ‘grey’ character. “In the film, I have a ‘grey’ character. I have never done such a role before. I never thought I would play such a character. It was quite a challenge to portray this character. I like challenges. I’m confident that my character will be noticed by the audience,” she said.
The film’s plot revolves around a ‘murder’ that takes place at 11:55 PM. “At 11:55 PM, a murder happens. The story of the film revolves around this event. The film has different characters, and each one lives life in their own way. In the middle of this, an unexpected murder happens, and everyone gets involved. The film then follows the investigation of this murder. There’s a twist every 15 minutes, which will keep the audience excited about the film,” she added.
The film’s lead actor, Mahesh Tripathi, also appears to be excited about the film. He mentioned that the film’s crime thriller genre is rare in Nepal, and that’s why he was ready to work on it. He also pointed out that there is no distinction between the main role and supporting roles in the film. Every actor in the film plays an equally important role, and he enjoyed working on the project. He believes that, just as they enjoyed working on the set, the audience will enjoy watching the film in theaters as well.
Actor Sagar Khanal is making his debut in Nepali cinema with this film. He mentioned that he didn’t feel any pressure for his debut. “I have struggled a lot to reach this point. I was a little bit ready for this. I took time to prepare for my debut, so I didn’t feel any pressure. I knew from the beginning that I had to study and understand things before coming here, so I was prepared,” he said.
This crime thriller film has been written and directed by Keshav Pandey, marking his debut as a director. Along with Pandey, MS Agraj and Shekhar Gyawali have also contributed to the script.
The film features music by Almoda Rana Upreti, choreography by Kabiraj Gahatraj, action direction by Dev Maherjan, color work by Rajendra Moktan, sound design and mixing by Shailesh Shrestha, cinematography by Pradyumna Mishra, editing by Ramsharan Upreti, and production design by Subash Raj Kafle.
The film, produced under the banner of Bichitra Films and Good Job Arts, has investment from Shyam Sharma and Saroj Sharma.
