A movie titled Hey Maya is set to be produced with Deepak Lamsal’s investment. The production of this movie has been announced along with preparations for shooting, which will begin from the upcoming month of Jestha. He has mentioned that the film will feature popular actors.
Although many actors have given verbal agreements for the movie, the written contracts are still pending, and the team is preparing to make the public announcement soon, he shared. Producer Deepak Lamsal has been living in Mumbai, India, for a long time, managing the release of Bollywood and South Indian movies in Nepal. After working for many years on the release of Bollywood films in Nepal, this is his first venture into producing a Nepali movie.
The movie, which will be produced under the banner of Real Entertainment Pvt. Ltd., will be directed by Junim Ghataraj. His recently directed movie Tandavam was released in theaters. Producer Lamsal stated that after observing Junim’s directorial skills in Tandavam, he decided to entrust him with the direction of this movie.
The film couldn’t survive at Nepali box-office.
The screenplay and dialogue for the film are being written by Chakrapani Sankhi. The production team is planning to reveal the cast and crew of the movie once the Nepali New Year begins.
