The trailer of the multi-starrer film Pitambar, set to release on Chaitra 29, has started trending worldwide.
The trailer, released last Tuesday during an official event, entered YouTube’s movie section trending list within just three hours, initially ranking at number 9. It is currently trending at number 3 in the same section.
The film’s trailer has also managed to trend internationally: it is ranked 8th in Korea, 12th in Malaysia, 13th in Australia, 22nd in Saudi Arabia, 10th in Japan, 12th in Qatar, 15th in Portugal, and 10th in the UAE.
So far, the trailer has garnered more than 1.14 million views, and the numbers continue to rise. The strong viewer attraction on YouTube suggests the film is likely to make a powerful opening at the box office.
Directed by Krisha Chaulagain under the banners of KP Films and Purushottam Pradhan Films, Pitambar features an ensemble cast including Pradeep Khadka, Dayahang Rai, Saugat Malla, Aryan Sigdel, Anoop Bikram Shahi, Sushma Pant, Gauri Malla, Rabindra Jha, Pramod Agrahari, Kameshwor Chaurasiya, Tika Pahadi, Sulav Pahadi, Surveer Pandit, Bishal Pahadi, Divyadev Pant, Supushpa Bhatt, Divya Rayamajhi, Gaurav Bista, Ashish Purush, Lalit Bista, Kishor Bhatt, Binod Kumar Paudel, Narayan Kafle, and Rabindra Bhattarai.
Child actors in the film include Arnav Ghimire, Prayus Dutta Subedi, Aadhya Lamichhane, Aaroh Chaulagain, and Suprol Budhathoki (Anmol).
Produced by Bishal Chaulagain, the film has Purushottam Pradhan, Aadhya Lamichhane, and Aaroh Chaulagain as co-producers. Suman Gautam serves as executive producer. The screenplay and dialogues are written by Pradeep Bhardwaj and Abhimanyu Nirabi. The cinematography is by Purushottam Pradhan, with Sher Bahadur Lama and Man Krishna Maharjan also contributing. Bande Prasad handled the editing and trailer, while Ashish Aviral and Babul Giri composed the music. Action direction is by Himal KC. The film is being distributed by RR Films.
