The first schedule of Feri Resham Filili has been completed. The initial 12-day filming phase took place in Kathmandu and Panchkhal, Kavre. Producer Raunak Kandel shared that the second phase of filming will begin in Bara on Kartik 22, following the Tihar festival. Some scenes will also be shot in Chitwan.
According to Kandel, the first phase of filming was very encouraging. This film is a sequel to Resham Filili, which was released in 2072 BS. The main cast includes Vinay Shrestha, Supushpa Bhatt, and Kameshwar Chaurasiya, with Vinay and Kameshwar reprising their roles from the first film, while Supushpa joins as a new addition.
Both the lead actress and the director have changed for the sequel. Pranav Joshi directed the first part, while Feri Resham Filili is directed by Niroj Maharjan. The movie stars Vinay, Kameshwar, and Supushpa, along with Nir Shah, Laxmi Giri, Prakash Ghimire, Shishir Wangdel, Ravindra Jha, Mahesh Tripathi, Kajal Karn, Avonraj Uprety, and Maxam Gaudel.
Executive production is led by Suraj Bam Thakuri, with Annie Thapa as a co-producer. The film is a joint production between Cinema Arts and V Motion Pictures. Cinematography is by Susan Prajapati, with a script by Niroj Maharjan and Akash Baral. Music contributions come from Kali Prasad Baskota, SD Yogi, Hark Saud, Jayen Waiwa, and Deepak Sharma.
