The release date for the film ‘Kalli’, which is being shot in Jumla, has been set. The production team has announced that the film will be released on Kartik 21 next year.
The film is set to be released two weeks after Tihar. Kaphia Films and Kuber Films will distribute the film in Kathmandu and the regions. The release date was set after consultations with the distributors, as informed by presenter Kiran Nepali.
The film is produced by Himal Kaderia and Amala Devi Rai, with the story and direction by Laxman Sunar. The screenplay is written by Mahesh Dwadi, and the executive producer is Saroj Nepali.
The film is presented by Lekali Entertainment and Kasturi Production.
The cast includes Uttam Pradhan, Saugat Mall, Arpan Thapa, Benisha Hamal, Najir Hussain, Barsha Raut, Binod Neupane, Rayer Rai, Priyana Acharya, Geeta Adhikari, Kuldeep Adhikari, Begum Nepali, and others.
The film’s cinematography is by Nisal Paudel, but the production team has not revealed any details about the plot.
