The Nepali film Purna Bahadurko Sarangi, released during Laxmi Puja, has proven to be a superhit at the Nepali box office. According to the distributor company, Bankates Entertainment, the film has grossed around 4.87 crore rupees.

Surpassing expectations from Nepali exhibitors, the film is performing exceptionally well in theaters across Nepal. Initially, it was anticipated that PPurna Bahadurko Sarangi might face challenges at the box office due to the ongoing popularity of other films like 12 Gaun and Chhakka Panja 5, along with the release of major Bollywood sequels Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.

However, despite limited screenings, the film garnered positive feedback from audiences, leading to an aggressive surge in viewership. Currently, Nepali cinemas are prioritizing this film over Bollywood releases. One distributor mentioned that the film’s success will likely continue for some time, estimating that it will bring at least 10 crore rupees in revenue for the producers.

Due to high demand, theaters are now scheduling shows from early morning until late at night. Exhibitors have described the film’s performance as unprecedented.

Directed by Suraj Paudel, Purna Bahadurko Sarangi stars Vijay Baral in the lead role, with other prominent actors including Mukun Bhusal, Buddhi Tamang, Anjana Baraili, Mao Tse Gurung, and Bhola Raj Sapkota. The film was produced by Seven Seas, a distributor focused on Nepali cinema’s diaspora.
