The trailer for Deependra K. Khanal’s upcoming film ‘Ke Ghar Ke Dera: Ghar No. 2’ has been officially released. The trailer was unveiled during an event held on Friday.
The trailer highlights the contrast between a home and a rented place (dera). It addresses the issues arising from the attachment to one’s home, portraying the current reality in which a home is perceived as a symbol of prestige and identity.
The film explores the struggles of the younger generation to secure and maintain their homes, as well as the negative consequences that result from this attachment. It depicts the financial turmoil and familial discord caused by the obsession with owning a home.
Director Khanal, renowned for his successful social dramas such as Pashupatiprasad, Aama, and Chiso Manchhe, has confirmed that ‘Ke Ghar Ke Dera: Ghar No. 2’ will be released on the 2nd of Jestha.
The film will tell the story of the differences between a home and a rented place, and the profound impact this contrast has on one’s life.
Director Khanal has also revealed that the film will explore the behavioral differences between home and rented living, and ultimately, how these dynamics affect an individual’s life in the long term.
The story for ‘Ke Ghar Ke Dera: Ghar No. 2’ has been written by Buddhi Sagar, marking his debut in film writing.
The film is presented by Apple Entertainment, A Plus Entertainment, and Nataraj Creations.
Cinematography for the film is handled by Krishna Bahadur Thapa. The film is produced by Nakimuddin, Sharad Shrestha, and Kiran Maharjan, with Yuvraj Karki serving as the executive producer.
