
The third song from the film Jante Bakhro, which is set to release on June 5 (Jestha 23), has been made public.
Released today via digital partner G21 Digital, the third song titled “Muku Muku Mya” is the title track of the film.
Featuring a portrayal of Nepali rural traditions and cultural practices, the song includes the film’s main characters Saugat Malla, Garima Sharma, Asif Shah, Lokendra Lekhak, and Bishal Pahadi, among others.
The lyrics of the released song are by Krishna Bhardwaj and Nirbhikalpam, sung by Krishna Bhardwaj, with music composed by Rikesh Gurung. Choreographed by Pradeep Lama, the song has been edited by Lokesh Bajracharya.
According to director Simosh Sunuwar, the film is based on a traditional practice during wedding ceremonies, where the bride’s side serves food to the groom’s party (janti) in the field or an open space—referred to as the “Jante Bakhro” tradition.
The film also features actors like Ramesh Shah, Kamal Devkota, Rusha Neupane, Rama Thapaliya, Kusum Sharma, Sneha Joshi, Samapika Gautam, and Kushal Gajmer. The previously released songs “Ghamai Raja” and “Angurko Jhuppo” have already been appreciated by the audience.
Produced under the banner of Muin Entertainment, Jante Bakhro is based on a social comedy storyline. The film is produced by Santosh Gautam and written by Pradeep Bhardwaj. It features cinematography direction by Hari Humagain, cinematography by Uttam Humagain, and editing by Sunil Shivabhakti.
The film is being distributed by Tiflac Films, while G21 Digital has acquired its digital rights. According to the production team, the film will be released simultaneously in Nepal and around the world on June 5 (Jestha 23).
