Filming of ‘Bigul’ Nears Completion in Chitwan

The filming of Bigul, directed by Ramesh Koirala, is currently underway at various locations in Chitwan. Director Koirala informed that the Chitwan schedule, which began in late Baisakh, has now reached its final phase.

“Despite the intense heat, shooting is going smoothly,” said Koirala. “We are nearing the completion of the Chitwan schedule. Two songs and a few scenes will be filmed in Kathmandu.”

Based on a story by Dinesh Koirala, the film addresses important social issues.

Featuring Benisha Hamal, Naren Khadka, Binod Neupane, Neer Shah, Rabindra Khadka, Ramesh Budhathoki, Geeta Adhikari, Saroj Khanal, Shishir Wangdel, Ishwari Baral, and introducing new actress Meera Pandit in the lead, the film aims to deliver both entertainment and a strong social message.

Produced under the banner of Magnolia Group by Mahesh Koirala and Suryakant Koirala, the film is presented by Kalpana Poudel.

The film features music by Nepali Congress General Secretary Bishwo Prakash Sharma, Arjun Pokhrel, and Manoj Chaulagain. Choreography is by Kamal Rai and Kabiraj Gahatraj, while cinematography is by Shiva Dhakal. NB Maharjan handles the action direction, with a screenplay by Maunata Shrestha and production management by Shyam KC. The film is planned for release within 2082 BS.
