The film Janai Harayeko Bahun: Sambandhka Dhagaharu has been renamed. Its new title is Janai Harayeko Manche: Sambandhka Dhagaharu.
After concerns were raised by some individuals and organizations related to Hinduism about the original title, the producers decided to replace ‘Bahun’ with ‘Manche’ to avoid controversy.
The film, scheduled to release on Bhadra 6, recently unveiled a character poster featuring the lead actor Bijay Baral alongside the announcement of the title change.
The poster shows the main character carrying two bags in a red shot, seemingly leaving home. It depicts a mother giving a red tika and blessings as he leaves. The color scheme indicates early morning.
His worn-out face reflects the pain of separation from family and relatives. The poster symbolizes the struggles of a villager who leaves his village and moves to the city.
The producers have tagged Bijay Baral as the ‘Epic Natural Star.’
The film’s shooting has been completed and is currently in post-production.
The shooting took place in Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Bhaktapur, and Kavre districts.
