The song from the film ‘Janai Haraeko Manchhe: Sambandhka Dhagaharu’ has been released. The song titled ‘Aama’ features lyrics, music, and vocals by Arjun Pokharel, along with vocals by Manisha Sunar.

The song showcases various melodic rises and falls. The dynamic rhythm gives it a distinct feel compared to other typical mother-themed songs. The variation in the melody adds emotional depth to the song.

The song reflects the essence of the film. It portrays the protagonist’s journey—from leaving home to struggling in the city and enduring hardships.

In this emotional track, the son says he came to Kathmandu to repay his mother’s debt and wipe her tears. However, the song reveals that Kathmandu is nothing like the hopeful dreams people usually have when they leave home.

Promising his mother a better life, the son faces numerous challenges in the city, making it seem as if he might not survive to return home.

The heartfelt plea—wishing time could stop because he failed to earn money in Kathmandu and begging death not to take his ailing mother—touches the hearts of listeners and viewers.

The son’s prayer to extend his mother’s life evokes deep emotions. The stark depiction of Kathmandu—where people don’t act like people, and homes don’t feel like homes—presents the harsh reality and reflects the film’s storyline.

The production team had previously mentioned that the film tells an emotional story of a mother and son, which this song clearly communicates.

According to associate director Manish Raut, the song is dedicated to all mothers waiting for their children’s success and the sons and daughters who move to the city seeking their mothers’ happiness.

The song’s video features the main cast including Bijay Baral, Keki Adhikari, Miruna Magar, Sushank Mainali, and Kavita Ale.

The film ‘Janai Haraeko Manchhe: Sambandhka Dhagaharu’ is set to release on Bhadra 6 (August 22, 2025).

Bijay Baral plays the lead role. The production team has tagged him as an ‘Epic Natural Star.’

The film has completed shooting and is currently in post-production. It was filmed in Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Bhaktapur, and Kavre.

Director Himal Neupane stated that the film portrays the emotional bond between a mother and son, which is clearly conveyed through this song.

The associate director is actor Manish Raut, known from Prem Geet 3.

Featuring a strong lineup, the film stars Bijay Baral alongside Keki Adhikari, Miruna Magar, Gaurav Pahari, Sushank Mainali, and Bhola Raj Sapkota in major roles.

Other actors include Riar Rai, Kavita Ale, Tara Sharma, Bhawana Khapangi Magar, Rupesh Lama, Suman Thapa, Srishti Khaddi, Niru Khadka Gautam, and Subash Singh Thakuri.

Produced under the Paperclip banner, the film is produced by Kamal Neupane and Bimal Neupane. Co-producers include RK Manandhar, Rupesh Lama, CR Basnet, Narayan Timilsina, and Chudamani Sibakoti.

The film features music by Thaneshwor Gautam, Arjun Pokharel, SD Yogi, and Prashant Sibakoti. Navin Gurung is the DOP and Krishna Pariyar handled cinematography.

The story, screenplay, and dialogue were written by Bhanubhakta Dhakal. Dinesh Bahadur Raut is the chief assistant director, while Tarkaraj Neupane, Rabindra Nepal, Monika Thapa, and Akash KC are assistant directors. Laxman Raj Paudel is the production controller.

Govinda Shahi’s Kafiya Films is handling distribution.

Following the all-time blockbuster film ‘Purnabahadurko Sarangi’, this is Bijay Baral’s first lead role of the year.

In 2081 B.S., this film featuring Bijay and Keki in lead roles is expected to deliver another blockbuster to the Nepali film industry.
