
The film Pitambar, which was released on Chaitra 29 (April 11), celebrated its 51st day on Thursday. The film completed 51 successful days in Ranjana Cineplex, Bishwajyoti, BSR, and Big Movies. Marking the occasion, the production team also announced the sequel Pitambar 2.
On Thursday, a special event was held at Ranjana Cinema Hall to celebrate the milestone, during which cast and crew members were honored. Journalists were also felicitated at the same ceremony, where the announcement of the second installment was officially made.
The event saw the presence of director Krisha Chaulagain, producer Bishal Chaulagain, cinematographer and co-producer Purushottam Pradhan, actors Saugat Malla, Anoop Bikram Shahi, Pramod Agrahari, along with a large number of media representatives.
Speaking on the occasion, director Chaulagain expressed her gratitude to the audience, stating that the film reached this milestone thanks to everyone’s support. Visibly encouraged by the success, she promised to improve upon past shortcomings and deliver an even better film next time. “I will correct the mistakes from this film and aim for greater achievements in my next one,” she said. A few days ago, Krisha won the Best Director award in Japan for the same film. Her debut directorial film was Aincho Paincho, which received positive critical reception.
