‘Yo Man Ta Mero Nepali Ho’ Set for July 11 Release, Teaser Highlights Nepali Essence

The teaser of the film Yo Man Ta Mero Nepali Ho has been officially released. The teaser aims to highlight themes of the Nepali language, literature, arts, history, its significance, and the pride associated with the Nepali identity—ultimately seeking to explore the question: “Who is a Nepali?”

Set to release on July 11 (Ashar 27), the film features Roshan Shrestha, Bijay Baral, Wilson Bikram Rai, Buddhi Tamang ‘Hait’, Ayusha Samal, Narayan Khati, Bhupendra Lingden “Mantri”, Subash Bhandari, Bijay Subba, Bijita Pariyar, Debaraj Rajbanshi, and Bhanubhakta Sitaula in leading roles.

Presented by Ishwar Entertainment Pvt. Ltd., the film is produced by Gyan Bahadur Pradhan (Roshan), with Mitra Pradhan as the presenter.

Directed by US-based literary figure Mitra Pradhan (Nar), the film is written by Shivam Adhikari. The cinematography is by Saurabh Lama, action direction by Dev Maharjan, VFX by Samir Miya, choreography by Kabiraj Gahatraj and Pramod Bhandari, editing by Banish Shah, and CGI by Satyam Rana.

The music is composed by Dipak Sharma, Bikash Chaudhary, and Thorompho Hyang Rai. The lyrics are penned by Dipak Sharma, Wilson Bikram Rai, and Shankar Adhikari Ghayal, with Anish Adhikari contributing to the traditional Khaijadi song.

Filming took place across Jhapa, Ilam, and various Indian locations including Sikkim, Darjeeling, Jaigaon, West Bengal, and the United States. The film also features international cast members from India, Malaysia, Poland, Austria, Belgium, South Africa, and the US.
