Ashok Darji Starrer “Man Binako Dhan” Wraps Filming, Eyes Tihar Release

The shooting of the film “Man Binako Dhan”, directed and produced by Tank Budhathoki, has been completed. The film, featuring singer Ashok Darji in the lead role, concluded filming with a concert scene shot at the Mahendra Police Club in Pradarshanimarg.

Filming took place over 28 days in Mustang, Kathmandu, and Pokhara. According to director Tank, the film is being prepared for release during the Tihar festival, although an official date has yet to be confirmed.

Alongside Ashok Darji, the film features Saroj Khanal, Santosh Pant, Rama Thapaliya, Nita Dhungana, Bhola Sapkota, Buddhi Tamang, Ramesh Bishwakarma, Rabindra Jha, Parbati Adhikari, Utsav Sapkota, A.R. Budhathoki, Shankar Shrestha, Samragyee Thapa, Bina Raut, Babu Parajuli, Raksha Shrestha, Priyanka Jha, Binay Adhikari, Aryan Nepal, and Bijay Dangol, among others.

The socially themed film was written by Tank Budhathoki himself, with screenplay and dialogues by Shivam Adhikari. Bishnu Maya Mainali is the producer, while Sapana Sharma serves as the executive producer. G.P. Sangroula, Bibek Nepal, and Bijaya Pandey are associate producers.

The film also features music by Tank Budhathoki, cinematography by Saurabh Lama and Nabaraj Upreti, choreography by Kabiraj Gahatraj and Ramji Lamichhane, editing by Mitra D. Gurung, and assistant direction by Nabaraj Sharma.

Ashok Darji rose to fame through his debut song “Man Binako Dhan Thulo Ki Dhan Binako Man”, which changed the course of his life. The song was composed by Tank Budhathoki. Darji is currently studying in Grade 9 in Kathmandu.
