Actor Mukun Bhusal has joined the cast of ‘Jadau’, a film based on an inter-caste love story. The film is conceptualized, produced, and written by Kaji Limbu, but the director’s name has been kept under wraps for now.
The film is scheduled to begin shooting from the Nepali month of Bhadra (August/September). Leading actress Samragyee RL Shah was signed a few days ago, and the rest of the cast and crew will be finalized soon.
With an increasingly strong lineup, the production team has also confirmed that actress Sandhya Shrestha will star alongside Mukun.
‘Jadau’ is being produced jointly by Silver Screen and Samishran Movies. The co-producers are Ramraja Subedi, Om Chemjong, and Shanti Tamang. Cinematography will be handled by Shyam Tamang, with music composed by Babul Giri and production management by Buddhi Majhi.
According to Silver Screen’s managing director Bimala Bhandari, the film is planned to be completed and released within the year 2082 (Bikram Sambat calendar).
