Singer Rachana Rimal, who had gone to Rukum West for a musical performance, was rescued by a Nepal Army helicopter due to health issues. The helicopter first evacuated her to Nepalgunj, and she has now been brought to Kathmandu.
The helicopter was called from Surkhet to airlift her to a hospital in Nepalgunj. From there, she was transferred to Kathmandu on Tuesday morning and admitted to a hospital.
Rimal had gone to perform at a festival being held in Beltapu, Sanibheri, Rukum West. However, when she suddenly experienced stomach pain, she was evacuated by helicopter and taken to Kathmandu for treatment.
