The Nepali film “Janai Haraeko Manche: Sambandhka Dhagaharu” has started releasing its character looks. After recently unveiling the look of lead actor Bijay Baral, the production team has now revealed the looks of Bholaraj Sapkota and Aarus Bhusal.
Bholaraj is seen wearing a shirt, vest, and Dhaka topi, with a slightly tensed expression and a scruffy beard. Alongside him, Aarus appears with a shaved head, wearing red attire, and carrying a bag — his sweat-drenched clothes reflecting a hardworking lifestyle.
His appearance hints that he may be a student of Sanskrit, further supported by temple backgrounds in the scene. Aarus plays the role of Bholaraj’s son in the film.
Arus shares, “A father’s sweat is the most expensive thing in the world,” underscoring the struggles a father endures for his child.
Directed by Himal Neupane, “Janai Haraeko Manche: Sambandhka Dhagaharu” is set to release on Bhadra 6 (August 22, 2025). The film is currently in post-production.
Associate director Manish Raut, known for “Prem Geet 3”, explains that the film explores the subtle and emotional threads of a father-son relationship. “It’s a bond deeply felt, yet hard to express in words,” says Raut.
Featuring a strong cast, the film stars Bijay Baral, Bholaraj Sapkota, Arus Bhusal, Keki Adhikari, Miruna Magar, Gaurav Pahari, Sushank Mainali, Rear Rai, Bhawana Khapangi Magar, Rupesh Lama, and Suman Thapa.
Produced under the Paperclip banner, the film is backed by Kamal Neupane and Bimal Neupane. Executive producers include Narayan Timilsina, Chudamani Sibakoti, RK Manandhar, CR Basnet, Philip DC, and James Maharajan.
The music is composed by Thaneshwor Gautam, Arjun Pokhrel, SD Yogi, and Prashant Sibakoti. Navin Gurung is the DOP, and Krishna Pariyar is the cinematographer. Bhanu Bhakta Dhakal penned the story, screenplay, and dialogues.
The film is distributed by Govinda Shahi’s Kafiya Films, with Laxman Raj Paudel as the production controller.
This is Vijay Baral’s first lead role since the all-time blockbuster “Purnabahadurko Sarangi”. He and Keki Adhikari reunite in what’s shaping up to be one of the major releases of 2081 BS.
