Actress Sirjana Ninglekhu has been signed for the film ‘Mirmire’. Following Dayahang Rai and Prakash Saput, Sirjana Ninglekhu has now joined the project.
Sirjana previously played the lead role in the film ‘Karsang’, which was widely appreciated.
Having worked with Dayahang Rai in her first film, she is once again set to share the screen with him in her second film.
“I am happy to be signed for ‘Mirmire’. I have been cast in an important role,” she said. “First of all, I want to thank the production team and the director for trusting me.”
She also expressed her commitment to performing her role responsibly and skillfully.
The production team has not revealed who will be Sirjana’s co-star in ‘Mirmire’.
There is no information yet about the rest of the cast lineup, but considering the actors signed so far, a strong lineup is expected.
‘Mirmire’ is directed by Yam Sherpa, who said he is assembling a strong cast and technical team to make a quality film.
Presented by Yarsa Films, the movie portrays a social story set in a rural backdrop. Yam Sherpa has also written the story alongside directing the film.
The producers include Nimu Sherpa, Chhonga Lama Sherpa, and Angchiring Sherpa, with co-producers Govinda Bohara, Sudip Kunwar, and Ishwor Shrestha.
The executive producer is Rohit Kattel, who also runs RR Films, the distributor of the movie.
‘Mirmire’ is scheduled for release in 2082 BS (2025-26 AD), though the exact release date is yet to be announced. RR Films will handle its distribution.
