The film “Yo Man Ta Mero Nepali Ho”, set to release on Asar 27, has been screened in special shows across several cities in the United States. The film received enthusiastic praise from audiences during its special screenings in Columbus, Harrisburg, and Pittsburgh.
Viewers who attended the special screening in Pittsburgh on Monday night shared that as many Nepalis living abroad are gradually forgetting their art, traditions, and culture, this film aims to revive the importance, appeal, and history of the Nepali language. They praised the film as beautiful and emphasized it is a must-watch for all Nepali-speaking people.
The film “Yo Man Ta Mero Nepali Ho” features performances by Roshan Shrestha, Bijay Baral, Wilson Bikram Rai, Buddhi Tamang ‘Hait’, Ayusha Samal, Narayan Khati, Bhupendra Lingden ‘Mantri’, Subash Bhandari, Bijay Subba, Bijita Pariyar, Devaraj Rajbanshi, and Bhanubhakta Sitaula, among others.
The film seeks to explore the value, pride, and identity of the Nepali language, literature, art, history, and the broader question of “Who is a Nepali?”

Presented by Ishwar Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. and produced by Gyan Bahadur Pradhan (Roshan), the film is introduced by Mitra Pradhan.
Directed by U.S.-based literary figure Mitra Pradhan (Nar), the film is written by Shivam Adhikari. The cinematography is by Saurabh Lama, action by Dev Maharjan, VFX by Samir Miya, choreography by Kabiraj Gahatraj and Pramod Bhandari, editing by Banish Shah, and CGI by Satyam Rana.
The music has been composed by Deepak Sharma, Bikash Chaudhary, and Thormpo Hyang Rai. Lyrics are by Deepak Sharma, Wilson Bikram Rai, and Shankar Adhikari Ghayal, with additional lyrics for the “Khaijadi” song collected by Anish Adhikari.
