The film “Janai Harayeko Manche: Sambandaka Dhagaharu” is set to release on Bhadra 6 (August 22, 2024). While Bijay Baral plays the lead role, actor Manish Raut has worked as an associate director in this project.

Manish, known for his role in “Prem Geet 3”, starred alongside Pradeep Khadka in that film. Although he was well appreciated for his performance, in “Janai Haryaeko Manche”, he chose to work behind the scenes as an associate director rather than appear on screen.

This means audiences will not see Manish acting in this film.

Manish is a trained actor with a formal education in cinema. So why did he not act in this film?

“Direction is a creative endeavor too. I’ve already done acting, so now I want to gradually gain experience in direction as well. I believe that developing both acting and directing in parallel could be more effective,” said Manish.
“I’m not a full-fledged director yet. But I feel that gaining insight into the director’s perspective can enhance my acting too.”

Manish explained that he chose to work in a different department on this film because of a strong team and a compelling story.

Citing the example that many actors aspire to direct at some point in their careers, he shared his desire to grow both as an actor and a director simultaneously.

He also mentioned that audiences will see him return to acting in the future.

Currently in post-production, “Janai Harayeko Manche: Sambandaka Dhagaharu” is scheduled for release on Bhadra 6.

Along with Vijay Baral, the film features performances from Bhola Raj Sapkota, Keki Adhikari, Miruna Magar, Gaurav Pahari, Sushank Mainali, Riar Rai, Bhawana Khapangi Magar, Rupesh Lama, and Suman Thapa.

Produced under the banner of Paperclip, the film’s producers are Kamal Nyaupane and Bimal Nyaupane. Executive producers include Narayan Timilsina, Chudamani Sibakoti, RK Manandhar, CR Basnet, Philip DC, and James Maharajan.

The music has been composed by Thaneshwar Gautam, Arjun Pokhrel, SD Yogi, and Prashant Sibakoti. Naveen Gurung is the DOP, and Krishna Pariyar handled the cinematography.

The story, screenplay, and dialogues were written by Bhanubhakta Dhakal. Dinesh Bahadur Raut served as the chief assistant director, with Tarkaraj Nyaupane, Rabindra Nepal, Monika Thapa, and Akash KC working as assistant directors. The production controller is Laxmanraj Paudel.

The film will be distributed by Govinda Shahi’s Kaphiyah Films.

This is Vijay Baral’s first lead role this year after the all-time blockbuster “Purnabahadurko Sarangi”. In “Janai Harayeko Manche: Sambandaka Dhagaharu”, Vijay and Keki Adhikari reunite as leads once again in what is expected to be another impactful release of 2081 (Bikram Sambat calendar year).
