Teaser of Nepali Film ‘PR’ Released in Kathmandu

The teaser of the film PR, produced under the banner of Salon Salina Films, has been released. On Thursday, the teaser was launched amid a program organized in the capital.

The teaser presents contemporary themes such as the struggles of students in Australia, their hardships, and the emotional pain faced by their families in Nepal. The film stars R.A. Suraj Paudel, Rajan Kunwar, Binita Karki, Puja Chaudhary, Bimala Khatri, Asma Adhikari, Kushal Thapa, Ganesh Budhathoki, Krishna Thapa, Max, and Naveen Ghayal.

Likewise, Nir Shah, Gauri Malla, Rabindra Khadka, Dikpal Karki, and Uttam KC appear in special roles. Directed by Shovit Basnet, who has also written the story, the film is presented by Ranjit Shah (RFM Facility Management, Australia) and Santosh Tiwari (Lan Way Dumplings, Sydney).

The producers of the film are Pradeep Dahal from A One Group Services and Laxman Sapkota from Indreni Group. The film features music by Manas Raj and Bheem BC, choreography by Ramji Lamichhane, screenplay and dialogues by Ganesh Budhathoki, cinematography by Saurabh Sayami (Australia) and Saurabh Lama (Nepal), and editing by Bande Prasad. The chief assistant directors are Ramji Raut, Ganesh Budhathoki, and Mani Tamang.

According to director Basnet, the film was shot 60% and 40% across various cities of Australia. As per the production team, the film will be released across all cities in Australia and New Zealand at the end of this month. Additionally, it will be released globally around the Dashain festival. The film is being distributed by RR Films.
