The film ‘Jahajai Ma,’ set to start shooting in Japan from Bhadra (mid-August), has finalized lead actor Saugat Malla. The production team has already signed a formal agreement with Saugat Malla.
Details about Saugat’s role in the film have not been revealed yet. However, it is understood that Saugat agreed to work because he liked the role very much.
Directed by Krisha Chaulagain, the film had earlier finalized actor Kedar Ghimire as well. The specifics of Kedar’s role have also not been disclosed.
Other star actors are also expected to appear in the film. Japanese actress Ruzel Ichimiya has also confirmed her participation.
This will be the second collaboration between Krisha and Saugat after the film ‘Pitambar.’ Purushottam Pradhan will be the director of photography (DOP).
Currently, the film’s pre-production work is progressing rapidly. Produced by Ujwal Guragain under the UNA Production banner, the film will be shot in Nepal, Japan, and the Philippines.
