As the Teej festival approaches, the release of Teej-themed songs is gaining momentum. Among them, a new song titled ‘Maitiko Dailo’ has been released, featuring vocals by popular singer Samikshya Adhikari and singer Madan Dhakal, along with Bimala Dhakal and Laxmi Basnet.
The song is presented by Madan Dhakal, who shared that he released it as a musical gift for all sisters and women celebrating Teej this year. The lyrics are by Madan Dhakal, and the music is composed by Ghanshyam Khatri. The arrangement is done by Anmol Basnet, and mixing by Bimal Chhinal.
The music video, shot in Gorkha, features performances by model Usha Subedi, Ghanshyam Khatri, Binod BK, Geeta Pariyar, and Manju Pandey.
The video was shot by Marubhumi Narayan and edited by Roshan Dhital. Madan Dhakal himself has directed the video and also written its story.
The video tells the emotional story of a woman who shares her sorrow at her maternal home after the death of her husband.
The song has been released via the TM Music Production YouTube channel.
