‘Gurkha Warrior’ Producer Suman Rai Successfully Summits 6,476m Peak, Sets His Sights on Everest

Gurkha Warrior film producer and Anugraha Group chairman Suman Rai has successfully climbed Mera Peak, which stands at 6,476 meters. Completing the climb with a spirit of courage and inspiration, Rai now aims to summit Mount Everest.

Led by Suman Rai, Anugraha Group is an organization based in the UK that actively operates in both business and social responsibility sectors. Its ventures include Anugraha Jewellers, New Anugraha Jewellers, Anugraha Bullion, Anugraha Watch Ltd., Anugraha Travel, Anugraha Gold House, and the Anugraha Foundation.

Former Gurkha soldier and filmmaker Milan Chams directed and produced the film Gurkha Warrior, which captures the legacy of the brave Gurkhas. Rai made history in the Nepali film industry by premiering the film at the IMAX Cineworld in Leicester Square, UK.

The Anugraha Foundation, known for its active role in social work, invests 10% of its income into education, healthcare, drinking water, elderly care, child welfare, and rural development. Under the campaign slogan “From Zero to Everest,” the next phase will focus on climbing Mount Everest and raising environmental awareness.

Through the Fundrise Social Campaign, Rai’s efforts aim to raise global awareness about climate change, advocate for environmental preservation, and send a message of a safer planet for future generations.
