The release date for the film Kumbh has been finalized. Directed and written by Randhir Shrestha — who has long been active in music video direction and cinematography — the film is set to hit theaters nationwide starting Mangsir 12 (November 28). Produced under the banners of A Ras Production and Dhruva Astro Vastu Studio, Kumbh will be released in both Nepali and Hindi languages.
Made in the action genre, the film features newcomer Ashok Aryan, along with veteran actors Sunil Thapa and Sushil Pokharel, as well as Afsana Thapa, Rohit Rumba, and Srishti Khadka in lead roles. South Indian actor Surendra Thakur also appears in the film.
The film’s cinematography has also been handled by director Shrestha himself. The action choreography is by Samrat Basnet. The film is produced by Randhir Shrestha, Dhruvraj Parajuli, and Rajesh Sah, while Ishwar Ballav Upreti serves as the executive producer.
Editing has been done by Sandesh Shah and Dhruvraj Parajuli. The distribution rights have been acquired by Shree Ram Balaji Films.
