Applications have officially opened for the fourth edition of the prestigious beauty pageant “Mrs. Nepal World”, dedicated to married women. The organizing body, Ribbon Entertainment Pvt. Ltd., made the announcement during a press conference held at The Plaza Hotel, Pulchowk, Lalitpur.
The first round of auditions will be held on Shrawan 17 (August 1) at Aryal International Hotel, New Baneshwar, and the Grand Finale is scheduled for Ashoj 28 (October 14) at the Nepal Academy (Pragya Pratishthan), Kamaladi.
This year’s event features popular comedian Kedar Ghimire (Magne Buda) as the chief guest and actress Deepika Prasai as the Goodwill Ambassador.
During the press meet, Kedar announced a donation of Rs. 51,000 towards the treatment of Sita Subedi, a contestant of Mrs. Nepal 2023 battling stage-four cancer. He also urged others to contribute to her cause. Kedar praised the platform as an excellent opportunity for married women, emphasizing the importance of both family support and personal capability.
Actress Deepika Prasai stated that Mrs. Nepal World is not just a beauty pageant, but a shared platform that builds women’s confidence and motivates them to move forward. She stressed the importance of self-belief for women to thrive.
Mrs. Nepal World 2024, Danila Karki, shared that winning the title allowed her to positively impact others, urging married women who wish to grow even after marriage to seize this opportunity.
Ms. Nepal International 2024, Reshma Ghimire, a single mother and active Lions Club member, shared how the platform helped her express her potential and grab new opportunities after her win.
Mrs. Nepal International 2024, Suyasha Raut, described the competition as a valuable avenue for personality development and social empowerment for married women.
Chairman Nishukant Jha of Ribbon Entertainment shared that this year’s event will be broader and more organized, aiming to highlight leadership, confidence, and social responsibility beyond beauty.
Board Director Aarushi Agrawal emphasized that the pageant is not just about outer beauty but also serves as a platform to fulfill women’s dreams.
Choreographer Ashwinikant Jha stated that special plans are being implemented to introduce Mrs. Nepal to the international stage, coordinating with Nepali communities and partner organizations abroad, including in the United States.
“Our goal is to strengthen Nepal’s presence in international beauty platforms through proper infrastructure and global coordination,” said Jha.
There are no height or weight criteria to participate, but applicants must have passed at least SLC (School Leaving Certificate). Single women are also welcome to participate.
Applications can be submitted via the Khalti app or the official website of Ribbon Entertainment.
Throughout the competition, participants will receive expert training in areas such as personality development, stage presence, communication skills, and confidence building.
