‘Kalli’ to Release Simultaneously in Nepal, India, and Pakistan

The film Kalli, scheduled for release on Falgun 1 (mid-February), is set to be released in both Nepali and Hindi languages, according to its production team.

According to producer Kiran Nepali, the film will have a simultaneous release in Nepal, India, and Pakistan. While it will release in Nepali in Nepal, it will be released in Hindi in India and Pakistan.

The film will be distributed by M.K. Film Distributor in India and Hippo Films in Pakistan. In Nepal, distribution will be handled by Kafiya and Kuber Films. However, the Hindi version will not be released in Nepal on Falgun 1.

Kalli has been receiving positive buzz since the release of its first look. Directed and written by Laxman Sunar, the film is currently in the post-production phase.

Produced under the banner of Lekali Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. and Kasturi Production, the screenplay is also written by Mahesh Dawadi.

The film features performances by Saugat Malla, Uttam Pradhan, Benisha Hamal, Nazir Hussain, Arpan Thapa, Barsha Raut, Sulakshan Bharti, and others.

Kalli explores the theme of greed — how the presence of greed can drastically alter a person’s life. The music is composed by Ashish Aviral, Sarita Rai, and Ketan Kshetri.
