The film Maijharo is set to be produced under the banner of Takme Production. On Monday, the production team announced the film’s production by signing actor Dheeraj Magar. The script and direction will be handled by the multi-talented artist Wilson Bikram Rai. This will be his directorial debut.
Dheeraj Magar acted as a child in actor Rajesh Hamal’s film Saathi and has since won the hearts of audiences through dozens of films. Now, he is venturing into direction with Maijharo. The film’s music will be composed by Anmol Gurung and Torempa Hang Rai, while the cinematography will be by Saurabh Lama. The production team will soon announce the names of other actors.
The film’s shooting will start from the first week of Saun, with Saurabh Lama as the cinematographer. Director Rai stated that the film will be shot in scenic locations of Ilam and Panchthar. According to him, Maijharo is a socially based story portraying the lifestyle, culture, and social realities of the Eastern Hills.
Takme Production’s previous comedic content and musical presentations have been popular. Against this backdrop, there is enthusiasm among audiences and filmmakers for the upcoming film Maijharo. Producer Dheeraj Magar is known as ‘Takme Budha’ from the popular comedic telefilm Meri Bassai. Besides acting, he is also a singer and music composer.
