The film Ceetamol, set to release on July 8 (Saun 23), is currently undergoing extensive promotion. Last Saturday, the team reached the show Comedy Night with Champion and various media platforms to reach a wider audience.
Meanwhile, a song and teaser from the film have already been released, successfully generating good hype among viewers. The song “Jhumka Kanai Ma” and the teaser, released last week, have each received over a million views. Viewers who have watched both the song and teaser have expressed eagerness to watch the film.
The teaser, in particular, has been highly appreciated by the audience. Comments highlight the strong chemistry between actors Sougat Malla and Benisha Hamal. Fans are excited to see this pair again on screen after their previous film Jhyanakuti. The promotional materials have received excellent feedback from viewers, boosting the team’s enthusiasm.

Through Sitamol, the producer and director aim to portray symbolic Nepal and the everyday life of ordinary Nepalis while addressing deep-rooted social evils that have existed since ancient times. The film is said to be made with the intent to highlight these issues and win the hearts of the audience.
Alongside Sougat and Benisha, the film stars include Shreekrishna Nirola, Januka Bishwakarma, Lokendra Lekhak, Bhugol Karki, Hiuwala Gautam, Sushil Pokharel, Dinesh Regmi, RR Khadka, Gyanu Malla, Pawan Bhattarai, Kajal Bhujel, and child artists Karan Nepali and Aradhya Rajyalakshmi DC. Shreekrishna and Januka make their Nepali film debuts with this movie.
The film is produced by Tulsi Devi Films Pvt. Ltd. in collaboration with Juntara Films. The story is written by Pradeep Bhardwaj and director Raj Bahadur Sane. Presented by Simo’s Sunuwar, the producers are Bhugol Kumar Karki and Vikas Raj Joshi, with Apsara Nepali, Ajay Mall, and Kumar KC as executive producers, and Gangaram Shrestha as co-producer.
