The lead cast has been finalized for Maijharo, the directorial debut of actor Wilson Bikram Rai. The production team officially signed an agreement with actor Dhiraj Magar on Monday.
Now, actress Miruna Magar has also joined the cast. After delivering a superhit with Woonko Sweater, completing the shoot of Jaari 2, and currently promoting Janai Haraayeko Manche, Miruna is now preparing to begin filming Maijharo.
Dhiraj and Miruna have previously worked together in the film Kusti. However, the release date for that film has not yet been announced.
The story of Maijharo is written by Wilson himself, while the cinematography will be handled by Saurav Lama. Filming is set to begin in the first week of Shrawan (mid-July) and will take place in Ilam and Panchthar. According to the production team, the film aims to portray the lifestyle, culture, and social realities of the eastern hills of Nepal.
