Director Rupesh Tamang, known for his 2023 film Danbhi, has announced his upcoming action film titled ‘Ekka Teen’, slated for release in 2026. The project is penned by Suman Gajmer and will be produced under the Juna Films banner.
A recently unveiled theme poster reveals key elements of the film’s tone—a helicopter, a massive explosion, and three central characters, including two men and one woman. It has been confirmed that actress Pooja Sharma will take on one of the lead roles in what is being described as her action avatar.
However, the identities of the two male leads have not yet been disclosed. The poster is labeled ‘Ekka Teen – Chapter 1’, indicating the potential start of a franchise or multi-part film series.
Director Tamang promises a blend of action, suspense, and a strong storyline, adding that he aims to overcome the shortcomings of his previous works with this new venture. The film is currently in pre-production, with shooting expected to begin soon.
