A new folk-pop song titled ‘Sisno Le Polyo’, featuring the vocals of popular Nepali singers Alina Chauhan and Pawan Pariyar, has been officially released. The song premiered on Friday via the TR Series YouTube channel.
The lyrics were co-written by Tularam Lamichhane and Pawan Pariyar, with music composition also handled by Pariyar himself. Blending traditional folk sentiments with a modern arrangement, the song aims to resonate with the younger generation. The music video features performances by Karishma Shahi, Suman Yogi, and others.
Set against the backdrop of a hill village, the song portrays a tale of love and emotional pain. Using the symbolic expression “Sisno Le Polyo” (stung by nettles), it effectively conveys deep emotional wounds and subtle social commentary. Chauhan’s melodious voice paired with Pariyar’s powerful vocals gives the song a heartfelt and appealing tone.
