As the upcoming film ‘Mohar’ gears up for its nationwide release on August 7 (Shrawan 23), lead actors Paul Shah and Benisha Hamal are actively promoting the film across various cities. With the song ‘Jhum Jhum’ gaining popularity online, the duo has been seen dancing with fans and engaging with the audience in person.

Recently, the film’s core team traveled to Butwal, a major city in western Nepal, where they interacted with students and youth at colleges, schools, and Rotary-affiliated groups. The promotional team included director and screenwriter Om Pratik, producer Chumban Jung Shahi, chief assistant director Giriraj Ghimire, along with Shah and Hamal.

During a fan interaction, Paul Shah described Mohar as “a family-friendly film that everyone can watch together.” He added, “The true earnings of an actor lie in the love of their audience, and that love isn’t easy to earn.”

Benisha Hamal emphasized the emotional depth of the film, which tackles the controversial tradition of the ‘Deuki’ system. She expressed confidence that the film will resonate emotionally with viewers.

Audiences in Butwal appeared thrilled to meet the stars in person and expressed great anticipation and excitement for the release of Mohar.

Based on the Deuki tradition, Mohar also features actors Niti Shah, Arjun Jung Shahi, and Rabindra Jha. The teaser and two songs have already been well-received, and the production team is preparing to release the official trailer in the coming days.

The film is produced under the banner of Film Makers Pvt. Ltd., and it is expected to perform well at the box office.
