The recently released Nepali film ‘Yo Man Ta Mero Nepali Ho’, which hit theaters this Friday, has been receiving positive responses from audiences. Viewers leaving the theaters have openly praised the film, appreciating its heartfelt narrative and cultural depth.
The movie, which aims to preserve and promote Nepali language, literature, and art, has resonated especially well with the youth. Many have commented that this is a must-watch film for younger generations.
In order to meet audiences and gather feedback, lead actors Roshan Shrestha, Buddhi Tamang, and director Mitra Pradhan visited various cinema halls in eastern Nepal. The film unit made the trip after noticing an increase in viewership in Damak. On Sunday evening, the D-Max Cinema Hall in Damak was fully packed when the team arrived, with the screening running houseful.
Many viewers shared that the film deeply moved them, with some admitting they were brought to tears at several moments. Popular YouTuber Bhagya Neupane, who attended the screening, remarked that the film touched his heart and was beautifully made.
Particularly emotional were Bhutanese Nepali refugees, who said the film reminded them of their past struggles, leaving many in tears inside the theater. Director Mitra Pradhan expressed that the overwhelming response has greatly encouraged him.
The film stars Bijay Baral, Roshan Shrestha, Wilson Bikram Rai, Ayusha Samal, and Buddhi Tamang in lead roles. ‘Yo Man Ta Mero Nepali Ho’ is presented under the banner of Padya Ma Ishwar Entertainment Pvt.
