Teaser of “Janai Haraeko Manchhe: Sambandhka Dhagaharu” crosses a million views – What makes it special?

The teaser of the film “Janai Haraeko Manchhe: Sambandhka Dhagaharu” has been officially released. Launched on Tuesday, the teaser showcases themes of dreams, struggles, love, and betrayal.

Beginning with a wedding scene, the teaser centers around the main character Bijay Baral’s dream of going to Korea. The teaser unfolds around the conflict with his father about the plan and the deceit he faces from a fellow villager after reaching Kathmandu.

It illustrates how Bijay, who comes to Kathmandu with hopes of reaching Korea, becomes entangled in confusion, and how his dreams begin to lose their direction.

The teaser highlights the hardship of chasing a goal without adequate information. It depicts how a man who sets out to relieve his family’s suffering finds himself caught in a deep cycle of hardship.

Along the way, the teaser also shows elements of romance and its ups and downs. In addition to Bijay Baral, the teaser features Keki Adhikari, Miruna Magar, Sushank Mainali, and Bhola Raj Sapkota.

The film “Janai Haraeko Manchhe: Sambandhka Dhagaharu” is directed by Himal Neupane and is scheduled for release on Bhadra 6 (August 22, 2025).

As of the time of writing this news, the teaser has garnered over 1.042 million views, and the comments are largely positive. This indicates a promising reception for the film.

The film’s associate director is actor Manish Raut from “Prem Geet 3.”

Featuring a strong lineup of performers, the film stars Vijay, Keki, Miruna, Bhola Raj, and Sushank alongside Rear Rai, Bhawana Khapangi Magar, Rupesh Lama, and Suman Thapa.

Produced under the Paperclip banner, the film is produced by Kamal Neupane and Bimal Neupane. Executive producers include Narayan Timilsina, Chudamani Sibakoti, R.K. Manandhar, C.R. Basnet, Philip DC, and James Maharajan.

The story, screenplay, and dialogues are written by Bhanubhakta Dhakal. The film features music by Thaneshwor Gautam, Arjun Pokharel, SD Yogi, and Prashant Sibakoti.

With DOP by Nabin Gurung and cinematography by Krishna Pariyar, the film’s chief assistant director is Dinesh Bahadur Raut, supported by Tarkaraj Neupane, Rabindra Nepal, Monika Thapa, and Akash K.C. The production controller is Laxmanraj Paudel.

The teaser and trailer are edited by Sahil Khan, color grading by Supreme Parajuli, choreography by Sunil Chhetri, and action direction by Chulthe Kaji.

Distribution rights for “Janai Haraeko Manchhe: Sambandhka Dhagaharu” are held by Govinda Shahi’s Kafiya Films.

Following the all-time blockbuster “Purnabahadurko Sarangi,” this marks Vijay Baral’s first lead role film of the year. On Monday, he received the National Film Award for Best Actor for his performance in Purnabahadurko Sarangi.

In the Nepali film industry’s 2081 B.S. calendar year, Vijay and Keki are set to appear together in lead roles for “Janai Haraeko Manchhe: Sambandhka Dhagaharu,” aiming to deliver another blockbuster.

Furthermore, following a national award ceremony held Monday at the President’s Residence in Maharajgunj, where the film’s lead actor and editor received awards for Best Actor and Best Editing, the film’s team also honored Bijay Baral and Bharat Regmi.
