The first look posters of the film ‘Chameli Ko Poi’ have been released. The production team has announced the film’s release date as Chaitra 13, coinciding with the Ram Navami festival.
At an event held on Wednesday at Narayanthan, three different design posters of the film were unveiled. In one poster, actress Sushmita Pant is seen pulling the leg of actor Mukun Bhusal. In another poster, Sushmita is holding a gun, while Mukun holds a bottle in one hand and a rose in the other. The third poster features most of the cast, where Mukun is seen pressing Sushmita’s leg. These posters hint that the film is filled with comedy and suspense.
Directed by Everest Surya Bohara, the film stars Mukun and Sushmita alongside Narayan Tripathi, Wilson Bikram Rai, Ravindra Jha, Prem Dev Giri, Ram Narayan Upadhyay, Ganesh Gautam, Ansu Maharjan, Babin Rai, Khadga Bahadur Pun, Umesh Rai, Rajani Gurung, Sunita Sapkota, Mina RL Shahi, and Ritu Mall Thakuri. The screenplay and dialogues are written by Shivam Adhikari.
Presented by Dhan Laxmi Cine Makers, the film is financed by Sunita Sapkota and Ram Narayan Upadhyay. Uday Bikram Rana and Ritu Mall Thakuri are the executive producers, while the line producer is Dhankumari Shrestha Bohara. The co-producers include Yam Oli, Sudip Kunwar, Sumitra Thapa, Narayan Tripathi, Kapil Acharya, and Pradeep Kumar Sapkota.
Cinematography is handled by Sher Bahadur Tamang, with editing by Bandeh Sah and Sujan Wadal. The music is composed by Rajanraj Sivakoti, choreography by Kaviraj Gahtaraj, and action direction by Kumar Maharjan. The film will be distributed by RR Films.
