Renowned for her distinct voice in Eastern Nepali folk music, singer Ranu Niraula has released her latest folk duet titled ‘Choli Dhaka’. The song is now available on Mela Digital’s official YouTube channel.
Set in a melodic Eastern folk rhythm, the song features Mahesh Mukhiya Sunuwar accompanying Ranu Niraula in the male vocals. The song is composed by Mahesh Sunuwar, with lyrics by Sahadev Kalikote, and musical arrangement by Aadesh Gurmachhan.
It was recorded at Mela Recording Studio, where Subash Kuthumi Rai handled the recording, mixing, and mastering.
The music video, like the song, carries a strong dance-centric theme. It stars Vijay Pun and Ramala Limbu in the lead roles.
The video features cinematography by Mahesh Mahara, choreography by Simon Rajbanshi, and editing and color grading by Arjun Khadka.
It was directed by Jeevan Shahi, with Sameer Rai as the production manager and Surya Oli overseeing the overall production.
