‘Hostel Again’ Announced by the Team Behind ‘Hostel 3’, This Time a Thriller

Following the success of ‘Hostel 3’, the production team behind the acclaimed Hostel franchise has officially announced a new film titled ‘Hostel Again’. The announcement was made via social media along with a striking minimal poster.

The poster features a blood-stained knife pressing down on a rose, symbolizing a fusion of love and violence. Though it carries the Hostel brand, the subtitle “Again” and the thriller-like imagery suggest that the film will depart from the earlier teenage drama format and venture into a darker, suspense-driven narrative.

The core creative team from Hostel 3 returns with Sashan Kandel as director, Madhav Sharma as writer, and production houses Samman Entertainment and Aaron Khan Films. Shankar Koirala continues as executive producer.

Hostel 3, which marked Sashan Kandel’s directorial debut, had a successful 51-day theatrical run and introduced a new generation of actors including Paras Bam, Simran Pant, Ashish Ghimire, Padam Tamang, Hena Nagarkoti, and Santosh Baniya. The film was praised for offering a platform to emerging talents.

In the same spirit, Hostel Again is expected to provide opportunities to fresh faces while exploring a new thematic direction. The Hostel series began in 2013 (2070 BS) with Hemraj BC’s original Hostel, followed by Hostel Returns in 2015 (2072 BS), directed by Suraj Bhusal.

The filming of Hostel Again is expected to begin soon. Meanwhile, the same team had previously announced a project titled ‘Bau vs Chhora’, which has now been postponed to next year due to scheduling conflicts, as confirmed by director Kandel.
