Actress Simran Pant has been officially signed for the upcoming Nepali film ‘Aa Baat Aama’, which will be directed by Chandra Pant. The production team confirmed her casting on Monday. In the film, she will be paired opposite actor Paul Shah.
Simran previously appeared in the film ‘Hostel 3’, where her performance received praise. ‘Aa Bata Aama’ will be her second film.
The cast already includes actress Bipana Thapa and renowned actor Pradeep Rawat, who is known for his work in Telugu, Hindi, and Tamil films. Rawat had earlier worked with director Pant in the film ‘Hrashwadeergha’, where he portrayed the role of actress Neeta Dhungana’s father. In this new film, he will play Paul Shah’s father.
Director Chandra Pant has previously directed films like ‘Mai’ and ‘Hrashwadeergha’. Through ‘Hrashwadeergha’, Bipana Thapa made a comeback to Nepali cinema after 16 years, and she is now set to work with Pant once again.
Presented by Arya Entertainment, the film is set to begin shooting from the upcoming month of Bhadra. The producers have stated that additional cast members and technical crew will be finalized soon.
The theme poster of the film was released a month ago. According to director Pant, the film is scheduled for release on Falgun 15.
