The trailer of the film Cetaamol, slated for release on the occasion of Janai Purnima (Shrawan 23), has been made public. Released on Wednesday, the 3-minute and 20-second-long trailer, filled with light comedy, sharp dialogues, and social satire, has increased public interest in Cetaamol.
The opening scenes of the trailer portray domestic disputes, poverty, unemployment, and government negligence seen in Nepali society, all presented with a touch of humor and satire. The lead characters are shown in a rural setting, where people struggle even to solve basic problems.
The film attempts to convey a social message through humor, suggesting it will make audiences laugh while also compelling them to think. The characters’ dialogues, biting commentary, and simple yet profound moments make the trailer impactful. Veteran actors Saugat Malla and Benisha Hamal deliver powerful performances that add charm to the trailer.

Directed by Raj Bahadur Sane, the film stars Saugat and Benisha along with Shree Krishna Neupane, Januka Bishwakarma, Lokendra Lekhak, Bhugol Karki, Hiunwala Gautam, Sushil Pokharel, Dinesh Regmi, RR Khadka, Gyanu Mall, Pawan Bhattarai, Kajal Bhujel, and child actors Karan Nepali and Aradhya Rajyalakshmi DC. Shree Krishna and Januka are debuting in the Nepali film industry through this film.
The story of the film, jointly written by Pradeep Bhardwaj and director Sane, is produced by Tulsi Devi Films in collaboration with Juntara Films. Presented by Simosh Sunuwar, the producers are Bhugol Kumar Karki and Bikash Raj Joshi, with Apsara Nepali, Ajay Mall, and Kumar KC as executive producers, and Gangaram Shrestha as co-producer.
