The trailer of the much-anticipated Nepali film ‘Mohar’ has been officially released, offering a gripping blend of suspense, thriller, romance, heartbreak, and revenge. Slated to release on August 7 (Shrawan 23), the film is produced under the banner of Film Makers Pvt. Ltd. with Om Pratik as the writer-director and Chumban Jung Shahi as the producer.
The trailer centers around lead actors Paul Shah, Benisha Hamal, Niti Shah, veteran actress Laxmi Giri, Arjun Jung Shahi, and child artist Sara Sharma. The film delves deep into the controversial ‘Deuki’ tradition, portraying its emotional and societal implications.
The storyline appears emotionally intense, especially with Paul Shah’s character caught in a love triangle with Benisha and Niti. The trailer reveals several emotional and dramatic highs and lows, keeping the audience intrigued.
Following the release of two widely discussed songs and a teaser, the full trailer has sparked even greater curiosity among audiences.
The ensemble cast also includes Mithila Sharma, Ravindra Jha, Miss Pabi, Sushil Devkota, Siddhartha Singh, Madhav Datt Pandit, Geeta Thapa, among others.
The film’s chief assistant director is Giriraj Ghimire, with DOP Dipen Basnet, editor Bhupendra Adhikari, colorist Renish Phago, and music by Suresh Adhikari, Thaneshwar Gautam, and SD Yogi. The trailer has been cut by Sahil Khan.
Choreography is handled by Ramji Lamichhane and Kaviraj Gahatraj, while Kumar Maharjan directed the action sequences.
