Veteran actress Mithila Sharma has been signed for ‘Sukh Dukh’, the directorial debut of actress and producer Neeta Dhungana Adhikari. The official agreement between Sharma and the production team was signed on Sunday.
Expressing her excitement, Neeta said, “We are thrilled to have Mithila Sharma onboard for ‘Sukh Dukh’. Perhaps, this film would have felt incomplete without her. Now we are on the path to making it whole.”
Earlier, renowned Indian cinematographers Kabir Lal and Shahid Lal were also brought on board as DOPs. However, the lead cast has not yet been revealed. Neeta shared that the names of the main actors will be announced in a few weeks.
The production management of the film has been entrusted to Shankar Pandey, while it is being made under the banner of Neeta Films. The film is scheduled to release during Phulpati (Dashain festival) next year.
FD Company has acquired the film’s distribution rights outside the Kathmandu Valley, while Rich Entertainment will handle distribution within the Valley.
