A new Teej song titled Dar Banairachhin Aama has been released to celebrate the Hindu women’s festival Haritalika Teej. The song was officially launched via NepMelo’s YouTube channel.
With strong musical and cultural flavors, the lyrics of the song are penned by Binita Khanal, while the musical arrangement has been done by renowned composer Tara Prakash Limbu. Popular singers Melina Rai and Anu Chaudhary have lent their voices to the track.
The music video also boasts a powerful production team. Featuring models Aashma Bishwakarma and Alisha Sharma, the video portrays them joyfully dancing while reminiscing about the Teej celebration and their mother preparing traditional “Dar.”
The concept and direction of the video are by Shan Thapa, choreography by Rajiv Samar, and cinematography by Arjun Tiwari.
Lyricist Binita Khanal has previously released several folk-based songs. Her album Padmabini gained notable popularity among audiences.
According to the production team, the song aims to make this year’s Teej more joyful, festive, and culturally vibrant.
