Arjun Ghimire (Paade), the creator and director of the popular television series ‘Bhadragol,’ has now turned film director.
On Thursday, marking Shrawan 15 (Kheer Khane Din), he held the auspicious beginning (shubhamuhurt) of his debut directorial film ‘Jharipachhiko Indreni’ at Dhanteri Barahi Temple in Lalitpur.
Until last year, he was directing the popular TV series ‘Sakkigoni.’ On Falgun 13, his team JPT Creation released the film ‘Laaj Sharanam,’ in which Arjun Ghimire (Pandey) also played the lead role. After the film’s box office success, he took a step forward into direction.
In ‘Jharipachhiko Indreni,’ only Priyana Acharya (Munni) from the ‘Sakkigoni’ team has been included. Other actors may join depending on the story’s demand, as Pandey mentioned during a media interaction following the film’s announcement.

This film marks the return of actor Ganesh Upreti to the Nepali film industry after nearly 9 years. He expressed his excitement to be making a comeback with a strong team.
Alongside Ganesh and Priyana, actors like Nirmal Sharma, Ramesh Upreti, and Deepashree Niraula will also be featured in the film. It has not yet been revealed whether Arjun Ghimire (Pandey) himself will act in the film.
Filming began on the same day as the auspicious announcement and will take place in Kathmandu, Lalitpur, and Bhaktapur. Based on a family story, the film has a shooting schedule of 45 days.
The story is written by Kumar Byanjankar (Kumar Ben), and the screenplay by Arjun Ghimire and Bishal Ghimire. Produced under the banner of Pashupati Shiva Ji Entertainment, the film’s cinematography will be done by Buddha Thapa, and investment is by Sushil Kadariya.
Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) leader Ganesh Karki has written lyrics for the film, and one of the songs will feature a rap by Kathmandu Metropolitan City Mayor Balen Shah. Balen’s wife, Sabina Kafle, was also present at the film’s inaugural event and extended her best wishes for the project’s success.
