Veteran actor Madan Krishna Shrestha has been signed for a significant role in the upcoming film ‘Sukh Dukh’, directed by actress and producer Neeta Dhungana Adhikari. The production team officially signed him on Friday.
Upon signing, Shrestha expressed that he agreed to act in the film because he was deeply impressed by the story. Director Neeta appeared highly enthusiastic after bringing him on board.
She shared, “He became emotional while I narrated the script. Once he liked the story, he looked excited to take on the role.”
Last Sunday, the production team had also signed renowned actress Mithila Sharma. However, apart from Madan and Mithila, the production team has not yet revealed the rest of the lead cast.
Earlier, acclaimed Indian cinematographers Kabir Lal and Shahid Lal were confirmed for the film’s cinematography. This film marks Neeta Dhungana’s directorial debut, and the production management is being handled by Shankar Pandey.
Produced under the banner of Neeta Films, ‘Sukh Dukh’ is scheduled for release during the Phulpati festival of Dashain next year. The distribution rights for the film outside the Kathmandu Valley have been acquired by FD Company, while Rich Entertainment holds the rights within the Valley.
